Some days are better than others

An abandoned surfboard on the beach in Diani, Kenya

When you look at the sand on the beach, the number of grains will remind you how infinitesimal you can be. There are days, sometimes weeks, that you may spend trying to make something happen but just like the grains of sand, you keep getting pushed on to the beach. Having said that, I am now working twice as hard to be the grain that made it to the sea.

As melancholic as this may sound, I am suffering from severe wanderlust and somehow each plan I make is collapsing quite fast. So here is a picture that makes me happy as I find ways of making sure my next trip is a success.

On that note, if you are interested in joining me through Bhutan and Tibet this September, give me a shout.
